Have you ever struggled with the idea/teaching that everyone on earth is born with a specific purpose? Have you ever noticed that some people seem to know what their 'purpose' is from the day they were born while others struggle to find it (or don't even care to search in the first place)?

In the Christian subculture this idea is regularly communicated through books like Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, from Sunday morning pulpits and small group studies, and by well-meaning youth pastors trying to encourage their students to find their passion and live for Christ in a meaningful way. While this may have been an encouragement to some, for many it was a source of condemnation as they never truly felt like they knew what their calling was, or even had a specific one in the first place.

If this lack of knowing your purpose resonates with you, you're going to love this discussion. In the end, we all have one purpose for existence. The good news is that it is eternal and incredibly easy to accomplish. As a matter of fact, you may already be living it and not even know it.
